A 10th grade student died and three other students injured in a knife attack Wednesday morning at Spring High School in southeast Texas in what may have been a gang-related incident, MyFoxHouston.com reported.
Three persons of interest were taken into custody, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said during a news conference. The four victims and persons of interest are all students at Spring High School.
"There is some information that this may have been gang related," Adrian Garcia, the Harris County Sheriff, said.
The sheriff said that the body of the victim who died remained in the school cafeteria. The three other victims suffered injuries during the altercation. One student reportedly posted a photo of blood on what appears to be the school's floor on her Twitter account.
The Houston Chronicle reported that one student was transported to a nearby hospital by a Life Flight medical helicopter and the two others suffered minor injuries. Source and More Details
